Kathleen Ney graduated cum laude with a degree in design from Cornish Institute of the Arts in Seattle, Washington. Having a consistent record of successful work, she has received design awards and her work has been shown in fine art galleries as well as exclusive gift shops nationally and internationally.

Design continues to influence her work. Composition, texture and color as well as cultural and historical references all play a part. On a daily basis, the beauty of the natural world and the complexity of the human experience provide constant inspiration.
