New series of feather drawings

I’ve been working on some new drawings of the various feathers we’ve been collecting. With the fall molt starting, I’m hoping to find more beauties in the coming weeks and will post here as I finish.I’ll be listing prints and originals at my etsy shop, take a look here.

Matted prints are 11″x14″ and offered in white or parchment.

I think they’d be great in a grouping.

Too Busy to Blog!

Although it’s great fun, I’ve been too busy to post much here recently. Which is a good sign that maybe we artists will be working more in the future! I’ve been thinking of swimwear lately so here’s a little snippet to get thoughts of summer going.

Artists and Models Needed for Life Drawing Sessions!

Drawing is an essential skill for artists, no matter what media they are working in, and one of the most challenging subjects is the human form. Every Wednesday evening between 6:30 and 9 p.m. artists can practice at the Quimper Arts life drawing session in Port Townsend at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The short video below shows why artists (and models) may want to join us.

There is always a need for a variety of models, men and women of any age and body type. Past experience preferred but not absolutely necessary. Contact me for more information at kathleen.ney@gmail.com.
